Get-Pruuf displays information sourced from Oregon government databases. If something looks wrong, it usually means the source record needs updating. Here's how the process works.

What appears on your profile

License & bond status — from the Oregon CCB public search database, updated with each pipeline refresh.

Building permits — from BCD Accela records for jurisdictions that report to the state system.

Inspection results — pass/fail/correction outcomes from permit inspections, with first-pass rate and quality tier calculation.

Complaints & discipline — CCB complaint records including status (open, settled, determined). We do not editorialize or interpret outcomes.

Business entity linkage — matched against Oregon Secretary of State business registry records.

What we don't show

  • -No user reviews, ratings, or testimonials
  • -No pay-for-placement or advertising tiers
  • -No editorial opinions or recommendations
  • -No personal information beyond what CCB publishes

Request a correction

If your profile shows incorrect information, the fastest path to correction depends on where the data originates:

License, bond, or insurance issues

Update directly with the Oregon CCB. Changes reflect in our system within 7 days of the CCB update.

Permit or inspection data

Contact your local building department. Permit records flow from BCD's Accela system. We display what the source provides.

Data display error on our end

If you believe our system is misrepresenting source data, email corrections@get-pruuf.com with your CCB license number. We investigate within 48 hours and correct any parsing or display errors.

FCRA awareness

Get-Pruuf is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We do not provide consumer reports, and our data must not be used for employment screening, tenant screening, credit decisions, or insurance underwriting. This is a transparency tool for viewing public government records.
