By accessing Get-Pruuf ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. Nature of the Service
Get-Pruuf aggregates and displays publicly available government records about Oregon-licensed contractors. We are a transparency tool, not an advisory service. We do not verify contractor quality, recommend contractors, or provide professional advice of any kind.
3. FCRA Compliance — Prohibited Uses
Get-Pruuf is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). You may not use data from this Service for:
- •Employment decisions or background checks
- •Tenant screening or housing decisions
- •Credit or insurance underwriting
- •Any purpose requiring FCRA compliance
Violation of these restrictions may result in account termination and legal action.
4. Permitted Uses

- •Reviewing permit and inspection history for due diligence
- •Confirming bond and insurance coverage
- •Research and journalism purposes
5. Data Accuracy
While we strive for accuracy, data is sourced from third-party government systems and may contain errors, delays, or omissions. We make no warranty that records are complete, current, or error-free. Always verify critical information directly with the Oregon CCB or the relevant permitting authority.
6. API Usage
Automated access to the Service via API is subject to rate limits and requires an API key. Scraping, bulk downloading, or systematic extraction of data is prohibited without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Get-Pruuf shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages from reliance on data displayed herein.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Multnomah County, Oregon.
